Overton High School Class of 2011 graduate Markus "Mookie" Betts has big plans in his near future. The short stop was the 5th round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox! According to Overton Principal Dr. Pelham, Mookie was an excellent student as well as star athlete. Earlier this year, he signed a scholarship with the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. No word yet on which he'll choose.
