Expect More, Achieve More. That's the state's new education motto, but what does it mean? Several events are planned for to help parents understand the new academic standards, how the standards will impact test scores, and how the new standards will impact testing content.
Tuesday, Oct. 5, Overton High School will host a cluster-wide session. The event will also be led by Dr. Changas. It begins at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 6, there will be a live chat on the
Children First! newsblog featuring Dr. Changas. He will explain the new standards and also take your questions. It begins at 3 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 7, Head Middle Magnet School will host a sessions for its parents, led by Dr. Changas. It begins at 6 p.m.
