Dollar General is ready to help students graduate
Dollar General has joined the effort to produce more high school graduates! From a company release:

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation and the Ad Council are proud to partner on a national public service advertising (PSA) campaign that aims to help high school dropouts get started on the road to their GED® Diploma.

The multimedia campaign officially launched yesterday and all materials are available in English and Spanish. All PSAs will feature a toll free number, 877-38-YOURGED, and a new website, www.yourged.org, where people can find free referrals to local GED programs and information on the GED Diploma process. The program referrals come from a new comprehensive National Literacy Directory (www.nationalliteracydirectory.org) that was developed in collaboration with the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, National Center for Family Literacy and ProLiteracy.

The Foundation is excited about the potential impact of this campaign. The goal of the campaign is to inspire potential GED candidates and make it easy to access local resources that will help them begin their journey to a brighter future through a GED.
