What Makes Our School Unique?
Experimenting, questioning, demonstrating, observing, challenging, and collaborating are just a few words that denote what Carter-Lawrence Math and Science Magnet is all about. Carter-Lawrence is a Pre-K through fourth grade school that serves students from various communities in the Nashville area. The staff’s primary desire is to provide a challenging, stimulating, exciting, nurturing learning environment where students can learn not only the academic skills, but develop life skills that move them toward becoming life-long learners.
The Carter-Lawrence staff participates in many professional development opportunities that support its goal to provide students with hands-on activities with math, science, reading and writing integration. Through support from community organizations and area universities, we are able to provide students with small group instruction. Carter-Lawrence is a great place to work and learn.
