The Department of Exceptional Education of MNPS is committed to providing parents with information and resources to help their children. We have a very active parent advisory group called SEPAC. We also work closely with local universities and the advocacy groups that represent our students.  

The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and Metro Social Services are also an excellent resource for parents of students with disabilities. They specialize in helping families with the following services :
