With all the rigorous work that the Hume-Fogg students go through day-by-day, it is easily seen that a school library, though helpful, will not always do the trick. That it is why the Nashville Public Library's downtown main branch is a great asset to the Hume-Fogg community. Only roughly two blocks away, students from Hume-Fogg students can walk to the library during and after school for homework, school projects, and many other things that would be impossible to do in any other occasion. And, since many of the students at our school do not own a computer, the computers furnished at the library are always a big help.
